Machine tool manufacturers are constantly promoting new products to help tool manufacturers and grinding factories improve work efficiency and reduce costs. In order to improve the utilization rate of machine tools and reduce labor costs, automation is increasingly being valued. At the same time, by developing software, the machine tool can expand its operational functions and economically arrange production schedules with small production batches and short delivery cycles. In addition, increase the power of the machine tool to adapt to diverse needs and broaden the range of specifications for grinding tools.

The development of CNC tool grinding machines in the future will mainly be reflected in three aspects:

1. Automation: When tool manufacturing plants produce new cutting tools, the efficiency is high due to the large batch size. But tool grinding factories do not have such conditions, and can only solve efficiency problems through automation. Tool grinders do not require unmanned operation of machine tools, but they hope that one operator can supervise multiple machine tools to control costs.

2. High precision: Many manufacturers prioritize reducing operating time, while others prioritize part quality (such as high-precision tool and medical component manufacturers). With the improvement of grinding machine production technology, newly developed machine tools can ensure very strict tolerances and extraordinary smoothness.

3. Development of application software: Nowadays, factories hope that the higher the degree of automation in grinding processing, the better. Regardless of the size of the production batch, the key issue is to achieve flexibility. The Secretary General of the International Model Association, Luo Baihui, stated that in recent years, the Associations Tool Committee has been committed to establishing an automatic loading and unloading system for tools and grinding wheels, in order to achieve unmanned or minimally monitored grinding processes. He emphasized that the increasing importance of software is due to the decreasing number of high-level workers capable of manually operating and grinding complex cutting tools. In addition, handmade cutting tools are also difficult to meet the requirements of modern machine tools for cutting speed and accuracy. Compared to CNC grinding, manual grinding reduces the quality and consistency of the cutting edge. Because during manual grinding, the tool relies on the support plate, and the grinding direction of the grinding wheel points towards the cutting edge, which can result in edge burrs. CNC grinding, on the other hand, does not require support plates during operation, and the grinding direction deviates from the cutting edge, so there will be no burrs on the cutting edge.

As long as we grasp these three directions of CNC tool grinding machines in the future, we can firmly establish ourselves in the wave of the world
