In order to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of skilled talents, better promote the spirit of craftsmanship in the whole society, actively create a social atmosphere of labor glory and excellence, accelerate the cultivation and selection of high skilled talents, and promote the construction of the high skilled talent team, the Dezhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Dezhou Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and the Dezhou Economic Development Zone Social Affairs Service Center held the 8th Dezhou City and Dezhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Employee Vocational Skills Competition from October 23 to 24, 2020.
The competition consists of eight occupations including welders, electricians, CNC lathe workers, and automobile maintenance workers. It consists of two parts: theoretical written tests and practical operations, and is implemented in accordance with the requirements of the National Vocational Skills Standards for Level 3 (Advanced) national vocational qualifications. Our company participated in two professional competitions for welders and electricians. After internal preliminary selection, two welders and one electrician were selected to participate in the finals of the professional competition organized by Dezhou Technician College for welders and electricians.
On the afternoon of the 23rd, a closed book theory competition was held in the multifunctional hall of the Book and Information Building of Dezhou Technician College; On the morning of the 24th, the opening ceremony of the competition was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Book and Information Building. Leaders from the Dezhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Development Zone Management Committee, and the Development Zone Affairs Service Center attended and delivered speeches; At 9:30 am, the finalists from over twenty companies officially began their practical competition; At exactly 5pm, the 8th Employee Vocational Skills Competition successfully concluded in the Academic Lecture Hall of the Library and Information Building. In the end, our company won the Excellent Organization Award, the electrician profession won the individual third prize, and the welder profession also achieved qualified results.
In the future, our company will focus on improving the standardization and professionalization of employees vocational skills, further enhancing their enthusiasm for learning technology, practicing skills, and comparing skills, and providing talent support for serving the major project of the transformation of old and new driving forces and the construction of a modern strong area in the new era in our region.
